Open Forum Public Meeting

The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) has scheduled an open forum public meeting to present the proposed plan to add lanes on US Highway 11 (US 11) between Old Okahola School Road to 0.6 miles south of Interstate 59 (I 59) in Forrest and Lamar counties, Mississippi. The project limits, also called logical termini, for the project are dictated by the project needs. Improvements will include widening or improving shoulders and a railroad bridge. The project is approximately 3.5 miles in length.

Citizens are invited to come and go as they please during the hours of the meeting to view the department's plans and to speak to MDOT representatives. This will be an open house meeting with no formal presentations. The public is encouraged to attend and view exhibits, ask questions, and offer comments.
